I was part of the wayfinding committee for the 2018 UWM Entrepreneurship Showcase. My role was to come up with a creative way to welcome the public by making use of a large, empty wall at the entrance of the showcase. I wanted to work with the ideas of play, creativity, and design because those reflect the essence of entrepreneurship. On top of this, I wanted to find a new way to display the pins of the different businesses that the students came up with. My solution was to form a grid like structure with cards that contained a pin and a quote about play, creativity, or design. The cards were hung on the wall and removable, inviting the public to interact with the wall and take the cards as a keepsake.

Pictured below is the Entrepreneurship Showcase logo. I took the diamond shape, highlighted with a black outline, and used it for the shape of the cards. This was a way for me to tie the cards into the overall look and feel of the showcase. I also used the colors of the logo in order to keep the look cohesive.
